Nothing collected

The app gathers nothing about a student. Not a name, not an email address, not a login, not a location, not an analytics event. There is no server for any of it to go to.

What it means in practice

• No identityA student is never asked who they are. There is no sign-up screen, because there is no account for one to create.
• No telemetryThe app does not report what was practised, when, or by whom to anyone. The practice log exists only on that student's device.
• No advertising, no trackersThere are no ads, and therefore none of the tracking infrastructure that ads bring with them.
• A third party says so, not meApple requires every developer to declare what an app collects and publishes the answer on the listing itself. The Whole Horn's reads Data Not Collected.
• Nothing to delete laterBecause nothing was ever stored, there is no retention period, no deletion request, and no breach that could expose a student.

Why it matters

The first question any school technology office asks about an app is what it does with student data. Every answer except "nothing" starts a process — a review, a form, an agreement, a wait.

Answering "nothing", and having the platform vendor confirm it, is the shortest version of that conversation anyone can offer.
